Jobs with Agriculture and Livestock

What do Farmers Do?
Farmers are people who work on farms with plants and animals. They take care of the land and animals. They grow fruits and vegetables such as corn, tomatoes, lettuce, apples, oranges, and lemons.

Farmers also take care of animals such as pigs, cows, hens, and sheep. They give food and water to the animals. The animals give different products such as eggs, milk, meat, wool and leather. Sheep, cows, and goats give us milk that farmers can turn into yogurt, cheese, and cream. Sheep give us wool and leather to turn into bags, clothes, shoes, and accessories. The farmer can use these products or he can sell the products for money.
