WHAT DO PLANTS NEED TO GROW?

Plants are living things that need sunlight, air, water, and soil to grow. The students learned that a seed can grow into a big plant with leaves, flowers, and fruit. 

 

They did an experiment to see how a plant grows with different conditions. They put a lentil seed into a cup with water and cotton. Then they put the cups by the window to receive air and sunlight. Everyday they are going to write about the changes they see in their seed.  The children can use the link below to play a game to see how a plant grows.
